Allow us to introduce you to Blake and Craig, a couple whose love story embodies courage, resilience, and unwavering devotion. Their modern love story started with a search on Grindr for the next hot thing. Next thing they know, they’re chatting it up for three months and then finally pulled the trigger to meet in person. After a lovely dinner and drinks, it was all over… well, romantically and also because the world stopped when COVID hit. We all know that either killed or made a relationship stronger and luckily, it only made their connection together stronger.
Against the backdrop of the Van Dusen Botanical gardens in Vancouver, Blake and Craig strolled along together, their laughter mingling with the gentle rustle of the wind. They’re both avid nature lovers and hope to hit all the National Parks one day, so these gardens were a perfect setting to illuminate their love for each other. Behind the lens, we could see the connection with each other that runs deeper than they let the outside world see. For the both of them, it was never an easy journey to come out to their family and friends, like many in the community, but this engagement shoot really showed the testament to the power of love to conquer all obstacles together.
